{"id":11,"date":"2008-11-06T10:41:00","date_gmt":"2008-11-06T05:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/guganeshan.com\/blog\/?p=11"},"modified":"2009-12-18T13:54:28","modified_gmt":"2009-12-18T08:24:28","slug":"new-net-logos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/guganeshan.com\/blog\/new-net-logos.html","title":{"rendered":"New .NET logos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I was visiting the Microsoft .NET Framework site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/net\">http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/net<\/a> recently, thought I typed the URL incorrectly for a second, because of the blue logo I saw at the top of the page.<\/p>\n<p>Then I googled (as usual) to see whats up and got to know that <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/msmossyblog\/archive\/2008\/10\/25\/embrace-the-new-net-logo.aspx\">the .NET logo has been changed<\/a>&#8230; cool!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It looks better this time in my opinion. I didn&#8217;t like the lowercase &#8220;.net&#8221; in the old logo, so this makes me happy! And it also reminds me of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/silverlight\/\">Silverlight<\/a> logo which I like so much.<\/p>\n<p>I saw some negative comments too, in some forums, saying that the new logo is &#8216;not cool&#8217; for several reasons&#8230; one of them is &#8220;everything is becoming blue recently when it comes to Microsoft and the web&#8221;.. and I also agree with that.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, Microsoft&#8217;s reasons for the logo change are given in <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/msmossyblog\/archive\/2008\/10\/25\/embrace-the-new-net-logo.aspx\">this<\/a> post.
